The Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) are available for public review and
comment until June 1st. Visit the link below to review standards by topic or grade level.
The link also provides information about the design and organization of the standards
and a link to a survey that allows you to provide feedback on the standards. This process allows Georgia science educators to familiarize themselves with the NGSS and to provide feedback to the lead states and writing team members for consideration during the revision process. To support this process, NSTA provides a range of resources (link at right), including background information on the NGSS and resources for organizing and facilitating study groups to review and comment on the standards. NSTA will host webinars on May 15^th and 16th to introduce the NGSS and to provide guidance on leading study groups.
