Hi Everyone,

It is a pleasure to introduce myself to you. I have been asked to complete an unexpired term as your GSTA District Director.

I have enjoyed teaching students Life Science for 20 years in Illinois and Georgia so much it has become a passion with me. In 2000 I was chosen as Georgia's Middle School Science Teacher of the Year. Presently, I am teaching life science to gifted students at Hull Middle School in Gwinnett County.

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Master of Science degree in Recreation and Outdoor Education at Southern Illinois University. I completed the Degree for Advanced Study in Teaching (DAST) at Emory University. At present, I am attending classes at the University of Georgia for leadership certification.
