Welcome to District V

Hello, my name is Zoe Evans and I’m the GSTA District V director. District V includes the following counties: Carroll, Heard, Coweta, Fayette, Henry, Spalding, Butts, Lamar, Pike, Meriwether, Troup.

To give you a little background information, I have been a middle school science teacher since 1993. I’ve taught science in both Florida and Georgia and I’m currently employed at Central Middle School in Carrollton, GA teaching seventh grade life science. I’ve earned my B.S., Master’s, and Ed. Specialist at the University of West Georgia and I’ll finish my Ed. Leadership Certification from UWG in July, 2008. Two of my greatest accomplishments as a teacher were becoming National Board Certified in 2004 and being awarded the 2005 Presidential Award of Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.
