District V News

It is a pleasure to introduce myself to you as your new GSTA District Director. Here is a little background about myself.

I have been married to my husband, Johnny, for 21 years and have two wonderful children, Kristi and Troy. We currently live in Coweta County and absolutely love it. I love animals and currently have three dogs and four cats. In the past I have even had a pet Madagascar hissing cockroach, Ernie, but he drowned.

I have taught science at Rising Starr Middle School in Fayette County since 1997. I hold a Master degree in Middle Grade Education and will finish my Specialist this summer, both from the University of West Georgia. I am a member of Phi Kappa Phi and have been a member of GSTA since 1997. I look forward to representing and serving you in GSTA.

I also want to remind you of some upcoming deadlines and dates of interest for our organization.
