Georgia Performance Standards

Be sure to link to the GA State Dept. of Education for the training materials, manuals, etc. for GPS training.  A link to register for training is also located at the website:  http://www.georgiastandards.org

The GA Performance Standards went into initiation phase last year for grades 6, 7 and 9 through 12.  This year, those grades will be in full implementation.  This year, grades 3-5 have gone into initiation phase and next year will be in full implementation.  During 2006-2007, grades 8 and K-2 will be in initiation phase with implementation during the following year.

As beneficial items, unpacked standards, and other resources are shared during GPS training or through this website by emailing the webmaster, they will be posted here to assist all teachers in the state of GA regardless of GSTA membership.  This is just one way GSTA hopes to partner with the department of Education to show support and offer assistance.
