Jeremy is the K-12 Science/STEAM Coordinator for the Jackson County School System, where he supports innovative teaching and learning that engages students in figuring out the world around them and solving real-world problems. Jeremy taught high school biology for 9 years, served as the 6-12 Director of Science Education at Northeast Georgia RESA for 4 years, and previously worked as an environmental scientist. Jeremy is a past president of GSTA and the Georgia Science Supervisors Association and a member of NSTA's Professional Learning Cadre. Jeremy lives in Athens with his two daughters and their two guinea pigs.
