Supervisor's Representative:  Dawn Hudson


My name is Dawn Hudson and I am serving for the next two years as the Supervisor's Rep.  I am an active member of both GSSA (Georgia Science Supervisor's Association) as well as GSTA.  I have been a science teacher for 13 years and now in a supervisor role for 9 years for a grand total of 22 years in science education!
 
I taught at Paulding County High School for a year, and then at East Paulding High School for 12 years before moving to the central office as the Director of Science Education in Paulding County School District.
 
I have held several GSTA board positions including District I representative (twice), High School Representative (once), and now GSSA rep again as well as serving as the original GSTA webmaster.  I am happy to be able to serve the teachers and school districts when it comes to science education.
 
By being the GSSA-GSTA liaison, I am able to communicate between the two groups to bring information that relates to both organizations.
 
I look forward to serving both the GSSA members as well as the GSTA board in my role.
