Supporting Excellent Science Teaching for Georgia

Voter Information: Register, Research, Vote!

GSTA encourages our members to participate in local, state, and national elections.  Statewide elections, in particular, play a key role in shaping the state's education policies.   Congressional elections are also important in determining the national political climate for education, in general, and science education, in particular.  Candidates' positions on school funding, privatization, teacher evaluation, and curriculum standards are especially important.  Please use the resources below to be sure you are registered, to identify and research candidates in important races, and to gather the information you need to make an informed decision that will serve the best interests of Georgia's students.
