Come spend two days honing your skills at moving "cookbook" labs to inquiry-based that are student-centered. Day 1 will focus on identifying levels of inquiry in existing labs, then work in the afternoon on modifying labs. Day 2 will center on collaboration with others to redesign one lab (or more!) into more student-centered inquiry labs.
Suggested for middle school and high school teachers - life science, chemistry or physical sciences.
Registration limited to 20 attendees.
NO FEE! Information to follow to registered attendees as to directions, parking and full schedule.
For more info: email Jennifer Barnes (jennifer.barnes@cherokee.k12.ga.us).
Sponsored by the KSU ATOMS Center, in conjunction with Dr. Charlease Kelly-Jackson (ckellyja@kennesaw.edu)
